Here’s what’s going to happen

Komets have to come out cool and collected, not like a mad bull. That’s when they’ve gotten in trouble in this series defensively. They can’t win the game in the first five minutes, but they can sure lose it. If they come out firing, I think that plays into Port Huron’s hands, especially if FW gets an early penalty or two. The Komets have to come out under control and keep the game under control. Run and gun and they are done.

Referee is John Searle who has been outstanding in this series. He’s made the same calls in the first minute as he has in the last minute and a lot of the time I’ve barely noticed him on the ice. Good for him.

Tonight’s game will also be telecast on Comcast Ch. 55 and Verizon Ch. 25 on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Thursday at 11 a.m.

I never thought that I would say this, but Searle has done a good job in the playoffs.
