The boys will be very happy about this one. The Port Huron IceHawks have changed their gametime for the game with the Komets on Dec. 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. It will be interesting to see how Port Huron does on a Tuesday.

Was this originally going to be a game where the local school district takes the kids to a game? Did’nt one of the other Michigan based teams do something like that last season?

Muskegon did this last year. I was on vacation from work, so I b2′d it. Let’s just say after about 5 minutes, I had to put the game on mute. It’s a neat thing for the kids if handled well, but rarely do kids those age stay in their seat and pay attention to a game among their peers. Can you imagine a weekday Shrine Circus crowd at a Komets game??? Yikes.
