A worthy cause

August 13, 2008

The Northern Indiana Convertible Club will be presenting its 6th annual benefit car show on September 7 at the Penguin Point from 12 PM to 5 PM. The money raised will benefit the Fort Wayne Rescue Ministries. This is the organization that operates the Fort Wayne Rescue Mission and the Charis House.

The Northern Indiana Convertible Club is a small group that was founded by Dan Thompson, who is our Show Chairman and long-time Komets fan and blogger Bob Brown is serving as the Club President.

    Blake,

Thank you for mentioning our show here on your blog. We’re looking forward to having a great show, lots of fun and raising funds for a worthy cause.

Also, my wife asked me to tell you that she will perform the National Anthem before the show. And yes, Kathleen does have a good singing voice!

Hope to see every one there!
